Aman Gupta

Aman Gupta is an accomplished Indian Information Officer with a rich background in journalism and media, spanning over a decade. His career reflects a unique blend of public service communication and cutting-edge media production, with a specialization in digital and audio content.

Before joining the Government of India, Aman played a pivotal role in shaping the podcast and digital audio landscape in the Indian media industry. At TV9 Network’s Money9, India’s first personal finance OTT platform, he led the podcast vertical, delivering multilingual content in seven languages—Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Kannada, and Telugu—making financial knowledge accessible across linguistic boundaries.

Previously, Aman was a founding team member of Aaj Tak Radio, a flagship audio platform from the India Today Group, one of the country’s most respected media organizations. At Aaj Tak Radio, he was responsible for anchoring and producing prime-time daily news bulletins, high-impact talk shows, and interviews with prominent personalities. His widely acclaimed podcast series ‘Naami Giraami’, a weekly show profiling iconic figures, garnered millions of loyal listeners and became a benchmark in audio storytelling.

Over the years, Aman has also contributed to several leading media houses, including NDTV, Zee News, Lokmat News, and India.com, bringing forth a wide range of impactful journalism.

His journey in digital media began in 2016, marked by a successful audition as a Casual Announcer at All India Radio’s External Services Division, where he delivered content for international audiences.

Aman’s excellence in journalism and content innovation has earned him national recognition. He received the Six Sigma Excellence Award (2022) as ‘Journalist of the Year’, and his powerful audio narrative on the Bhopal Gas Tragedy was honored with the IIMCAA Award (2020) for Best Digital Production and Stormirror’s Award for best Audio Story.
